Contract
This contract will be between the customer and the owner but will not exist until a signed booking form, together with a nonreturnable 20% deposit has been received.
Once the booking is confirmed, the balance will be due at least 28 days before the holiday commences.
Telephone Bookings
Telephone bookings will be held for seven days pending receipt of your deposit and a completed booking form.
Cancellation
If the customer should have to cancel the holiday, the owner will make every effort to re-let the property but otherwise the customer will be liable to pay the full balance.
Customers are strongly advised to take out insurance in case of this eventuality.
Amendments to a booked week
Changes to the dates of weeks already booked, may be considered at the owners discretion, dependant on timescales/time of year. An administration charge of £40.00 must be paid before any change is processed.
Security Deposit
This is a deposit payable with the balance for the property booked to cover loss, damage and additional cleaning of the property if left in an unsatisfactory state. This will be refunded, less any charges, on return of the keys. This deposit is £50 for one week plus £20 for additional weeks.
Keys
Keys will be forwarded to the customer 14 days before commencement of the holiday and must be posted back to the owner within 7 days of returning home.
Pets
We are very pleased to welcome up to two well behaved dogs at a charge of £5 per dog per week. We would ask that:
You do not leave your dog unattended in the cottage.
Please keep your dog/dogs off the furniture and beds. If they are likely to jump on the sofas then use the blankets in the dog pack.
Please walk your dog offsite.
Please clear up any dog mess.
Linen
Bed linen and towels are provided and each bed has a duvet and two pillows per person.
One bath towel and one hand towel per person are included in the cost. Guests are asked to provide their own beach towels.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside Lanherne Cottage. Guests are welcome to smoke outside, but please do not leave cigarette ends in the garden.
Parking
Parking space for one car is available. We do not accept responsibility for any loss or theft of or from a vehicle. All vehicles are parked at the owners risk.
General Conditions

Only the maximum number of persons and animals shown on the booking form may occupy the property and under no circumstances may the booked holiday period be extended beyond the initial booking except by prior written agreement of the owner.

Any complaints regarding the condition of the property must be taken up with the owner within 36 hours of arrival. Under no circumstances can compensation be made for complaints after the tenancy has ended.

Tenants are welcome after 3:00pm on arrival day and must vacate the premises by 10:00am when they leave. Please ensure these times are adhered to and customers are asked to please leave the premises in a clean and tidy condition.

Tenants are responsible for the insurance of their own personal property.
Tenants are in possession of a cottage key during their stay. Please ensure the cottage is kept safe and secure at all times.
